Rapper Raftaar has condemned the maker of a video who grabbed women on the street and forcibly kissed them
Dhaakad
rapper Raftaar seems to have become a champion of women empowerment after
collaborating with Aamir Khan in Dangal.
The rapper blasted a Youtuber who posted a series of videos which saw him walk
up to random women and kiss them. He would then run away after the “disgraceful
act”.
While the nation is still reeling from the incident in Bengaluru where a group
of men molested a woman, this video went viral.
The rapper too watched it and it angered him- and how!
Raftaar then took to Facebook and found the maker, to be a certain Sumit
Verma.
The hitmaker then went on to threaten him and said that he will surely make a
video of himself dragging Sumit and will post it on all social networking
platforms.

Soon enough the maker uploaded another video and apologised for his act.
Raftaar once again put up a video, adding that such acts should never be repeated.

Raftaar was amongst the celebrities who had raised his voice against the Bengaluru molestation case.
Celebs like Varun Dhawan, Farhan Akhtar, had criticised MLA Abu Azmi, father-in-law of actress Ayesha Takia who stated, "It was bound to happen. Women were wearing short dress." Azmi had added, "If a girl celebrates after dark she should go with her husband, father and not with strangers (Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan Lash Out At Politician Abu Azmi For Shaming Women, Jan 3 2017).
Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and Malaika Arora Khan were
the other Bollywood stars who spoke out against the culture of misogyny which
results in sexual violence against women (Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Malaika Arora Condemn
